Our Approach

We integrate our medical expertise with legal insights to create Life Care Plans that guarantee individuals have the essential resources for lifelong care.

Detailed Steps

01 — Case Consultation

We ensure a thorough understanding of our client’s needs, confirm no conflict of interest, and guarantee commitment to deadlines.

02 — Initial Case Intake

Formal agreement with signed contract, retainer, and fee agreement.

03 — Records Review

A thorough review of all provided medical records, supporting documents, accident reports, billing and financial information, vocational history, and other expert reports and depositions.

04 — Client Interview

We conduct an in-depth interview with the client, their family and caregivers, or their representative to gather a holistic view of the client’s life before and after the injury or illness. We document functional changes, daily impacts, and care goals to identify specific needs and limitations. Additionally, we review the educational and vocational impacts.

05 — Home Assessment

The assessment allows the Life Care Planner to evaluate the client’s interaction with their social and physical environment.  We assess environmental restrictions and identify areas for improving the client’s daily independence and function through architectural modifications, transportation, medical and special equipment, home or facility care, and additional resources.

06 — Records Retrieval

We request additional medical records to guarantee the most current diagnostics, medications, provider reports, and financial records.

07 — Collaboration

We consult with the client’s multidisciplinary team to confirm accurate treatment recommendations, prognosis, and future medical needs.

08 — Detailed Life Care Plan

We create a unique and individualized Life Care Plan using current value, detailing significant findings and the client’s future needs with cost projection tables and rationale based on life expectancy.
